Perfume wholesale in Dubai, handled as a conversation

Al Huda & Al Hiba Perfumes Trading — HH Perfumes — has supplied perfume wholesale out of Deira since 2012. This page is not a catalogue and there is no price on it. It is here so you know how buying from us works before you spend a message finding out.

01

Who writes to us

Shop owners, mostly, buying perfume wholesale for a counter they already keep. Some have run that counter for years and know exactly what moves in their street. Some are opening a first shop and have not yet learned what their customers will ask for twice. Both conversations are welcome, and they are not the same conversation.

Also: kiosk operators, people selling online who need to know where a bottle came from before they can answer for it, and exporters sourcing wholesale for a market outside the Emirates. What they have in common is that they are careful about who they ask. That care is the beginning of a good conversation, not an obstacle to it.

02

Why the terms are not on this page

Quantity, line, timing and destination move together. Change one and the others change with it, which is why a printed figure would be wrong for almost everyone who read it. What is true for a hundred pieces going to one shop in Sharjah is not true for the same hundred going somewhere else.

So wholesale terms live in the conversation. You say what you are working with; someone with a name answers what can honestly be discussed today. Nothing here is left vague to be clever — it is left to the person who can actually answer it.

03

How we answer where a piece came from

We buy from sources we have worked with for years, and we answer where any piece came from — by name, in the conversation, to the person who is going to sell it. That is a plainer answer than a badge on a page, and it is the one you can actually use when a customer asks you the same question.

If you are still learning to read a bottle yourself, the journal has the long version: what a photograph can and cannot prove, and what a price that is too good tells you about the channel it travelled.

04

Oud, bakhoor and attar

The licence covers two trades: perfume and cosmetics, and oud, bakhoor and attar. The second is not a sideline in this part of the world — for a great many shops in the Gulf it is the half of the counter that turns over fastest, and it behaves differently. It is graded rather than branded, it is bought by the tola and by the piece, and two lots that share a name can be nothing alike.

If that is the half you are asking about, say so early. It changes what is worth discussing and who should be in the conversation.

05

Deira, and why the market still works this way

The company sits in Al Daghaya, in Deira — the older side of Dubai, where the perfume trade settled long before anyone built a website for it. Streets there are narrow and the doors are close together, and a buyer who has come once tends to come back to the same door rather than start again.

That is not nostalgia, it is how the risk is managed. In a trade where the object in the box is the whole question, people prefer a supplier they can return to and ask. The address on the contact page has not changed since 2012, and that is the point of it.

06

What to have ready before the first message

Who you are and where you sell. A shop with foot traffic, a phone, a stall at the weekend — each one buys differently, and saying which saves both of us a round of guessing.

What your customer actually asks for. Not a wish list: the two or three things they come back for. Classic or newer, quieter or louder, men’s side or women’s side or both.

Whether this is a first order or a book you already keep, and roughly how often you would want to reorder. You do not need a number to start — an honest sense of scale is enough.

Then message Ahmad or Khaled on WhatsApp, or use the contact form. Say those three things and the first reply from your supplier will be worth reading.

One message is enough to start. Say who you are; we will take it from there.
